FAMAD - Fachstelle Arbeitsmarkt und Antidiskriminierung

The Specialist Office for the Labour Market and Anti-Discrimination promotes legal protection against discrimination in working life. Through counselling, training programmes, and networking opportunities, we support employers and anti-discrimination counselling centres in Berlin. Our work is based on the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG) and its provisions on protection against discrimination.

FAMAD is a project of the Turkish Federation in Berlin-Brandenburg (TBB). The project is funded by the Berlin Senate Department for Labour, Social Affairs, Equality, Integration, Diversity and Anti-Discrimination using resources from the State Office for Equal Treatment against Discrimination (LADS).

Counselling Centres

Anti-discrimination counseling centers advocate for the interests of those seeking advice every day. In doing so, they are often faced with the challenge of addressing legal questions and responding appropriately to the diverse needs of their clients. We provide support through free legal advice and professional exchanges on the General Equal Treatment Act and labor law.
